So I went to my ceramics class today and was really excited to talk to Tom about this band that I thought he would like, cause we had the same taste in music. And to laugh about still not turning in my winning art bar. But when I got to class it was a different teacher and I asked if Tom was teaching this class and she looked at me for a moment and told me that Tom had passed on in the summer and that she was his wife. I was so shocked, and I was really sad. I had to leave the room so I could cry for a moment. I've never known anyone that had died before and even though I didn't know him that well I really liked him and he encouraged me to finish things and I am really sad that he is gone. He doesn't seem like the kind of person who can just not exist anymore. This really sucks.

I looked at a reflection of myself today and wasn't totally disgusted.

Getting Big D:

Kitten is eating and chillin out in the bathroom. She used the litterbox twice and hasn't had an accident here yet. : ) she is super cute. I wish I could keep her.

Ulises took me plant shopping today, it was really fun : ) we biked over to get breakfast and then to the flower shop and picked out these guys. The first is a Dracena (Draco), then a Prayer Plant (George) and a Coffee plant (Bert)

We got the pots at Down To Earth. Plants are the next best things to pets, which I can't have. So I really love my plants : ) I found out the reason why my peace lily isn't blooming is because it's root ball was too small so we re-planted it with some more soil and loosened the roots. I hope he blooms soon!
